RHOM: Lea's Black Magic
Lea’s Black Magic- Well, it looks like Marysol has finally solved the root of her mother’s ailments. A psychic has officially confirmed that Lea Black has been using black magic to destroy Elsa. And here I thought Black was just her last name. How naïve. Now, Lea’s been accused of a lot of things on this show. Manipulative? I can see that. Fake? Sure. Capable of using black magic to put an elderly woman in the hospital? Come on. I’m sure Marysol is too devastated to face the highly more likely scenario for her mother’s sickness: the fact that um… she’s old. But who needs science or realism when you can find another reason to hate an old friend?
Meanwhile, is it me or is Alexia a horrible host? Didn’t she go off on Karent last season at her own party? Well, she’s continuing the legacy by going off on Lea at her party this year because she’s tired of her fake pleasant greetings. I’ve come to the conclusion that these reality TV women can’t win. If they are pleasant and say hello, they’re being fake. If they don’t greet the other person then it’s, “She couldn’t even come over and say hi.” And if they decide to address the issue on the spot it’s, “Why did she have to bring it up, here of all places?” I guess if you’re in a conflict with someone on a reality show you should just snap your fingers and disappear in a cloud of smoke you’re your opponent enters the room. But then you’d probably get accused of black magic.
On an even less hopeful note, Joanna and Romain went to sex therapy… except Romain didn’t show up because he was too busy throwing a hissy fit over a text Joanna got from her sister Marta earlier that day. Because apparently now, we’re reading each other’s text messages. Joanna’s upset because she knows she and Romain will work out their issues (I doubt it), but she is worried she won’t work things out with Marta. Because nothing is a more insurmountable obstacle than your younger sister moving to another state to live with her boyfriend. The betrayal. Basically, Romain feels that Marta is trying to drive a wedge between Joanna and him. I feel that Marta is doing what any sister would do which is be skeptical of a man who has already cheated on her sister. Maybe instead of being a jerk to her, he should spend his energy trying to win her over again and it might make his life easier. Just a thought. But while I don’t have the gift of foresight, nor do I read tarot cards, I’m going to use my own imaginary cards to make a prediction about the Krupa/Zago future. The first card has a sex therapist before you’re even married. The second card has a series of email exchanges with another woman. The third card is a close relative of Joanna’s that Romain doesn’t get along with. The fourth card is a divorce court. But then, if Joanna were good at reading signs we probably wouldn’t be in this situation to begin with, now would we?
Looks like Adriana needs a lesson in identifying big cats in next week’s episode. Be sure to watch Monday at 9 on Bravo.
